A well-known member of the Chicago real estate community for more than 25 years, Danny is currently a Principal and office leasing director for Avison Young in their downtown Chicago office. Danny oversees continued growth and development of the agency leasing practice in the Chicago region, taking the lead on recruiting talent, continuing to work with clients to develop custom solutions for their real estate issues, and partnering with all Avison Young Principals to further build the growing brand in the Midwest and across the US.

As a landlord representative, Danny has secured more than 500 lease transactions totaling more than 4.5 million square feet (msf) for tenants such as AIG, General Electric and Mellon Bank; while representing some of the most recognizable buildings in Chicago, and indeed the country:  Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), John Hancock Center, Prudential Plaza, and Accenture Tower (formally Citigroup Center) among others.

In the seven years prior to joining Avison Young, Danny was executive vice president of MB Real Estate, where he led the firm’s business development efforts, including sourcing third-party management and leasing opportunities, provided tenant representation services and overseeing equity investments. Danny was also executive vice president of leasing for Prime Group Realty Trust, where he directed the leasing activity of approximately 7 msf of office space in downtown and suburban Chicago. Previously, he was executive vice president of leasing with Shorenstein Realty Services, where he oversaw the leasing activity of approximately 4 msf of office space in downtown Chicago and other metropolitan areas in the Midwest region.

After college, Danny played basketball professionally in Greece for three seasons before moving into real estate. Danny resides in Glenview, Illinois with his wife Margaret and their three sons.
