Real Conversations. Real Chicago. Real Estate.

For the real estate enthusiasts who don't just want the highlight reel — who want to understand what actually makes the best of the best who they are.

Real Estate Legends isn't a show about transactions. It's about people. The ones who show up every single day, who built something from nothing, and whose character — not just their deals — is what makes them a legend.

Why I started the Podcast

I've spent my career watching people go from just starting out to becoming a force in their field. Working across brokerage firms, I was surrounded by great Realtors, loan officers, developers, builders, property managers — people who rose to the top not just because of what they knew, but because of who they were.

Relationships have always been the part of this business I've loved most. And over time, my curiosity about what makes people truly successful became something I couldn't ignore. That curiosity is what started this podcast.

Where it comes from

I grew up with a grandfather and father who were both deeply rooted in real estate — and both deeply rooted in people.

My grandfather, Guy Viti, immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1914. He taught himself English, studied real estate and insurance, and built his own sewer business before founding Guy Viti Real Estate & Insurance in 1937. In those early days, there were no attorneys or title companies involved in transactions — Guy handled everything himself, often acting as the lender too. He built it from nothing, one relationship at a time.

My father, Blase J. Viti Sr., carried that forward in his own way — as a property owner, landlord, and Realtor. I'd sit in his office on Saturdays as a kid, just listening. The stories, the deals, the people. I didn't know it then, but those Saturdays shaped everything.

What I know now is that my father deeply admired how his own father approached the world — genuinely curious about every person he met, truly interested in their story. That's at the heart of why I do this too.

Real Estate Legends was co-founded and produced with my daughter Hannah — who holds a Master's in Sound Arts & Industries from Northwestern and is herself an up-and-coming real estate professional. Neither of us knew when we launched this show that she'd one day join the family business full time. But looking back, it makes complete sense. The curiosity, the care for people, the love of this city — it runs in the family. Four generations deep now.
